Porcelain Veneers
A naturally beautiful smile can be restored with all the strength of the original teeth with porcelain veneers. Missing teeth, spaces, and disproportionate sizes between existing teeth are all ‘masked’ with veneers. This treatment does have a more limited application and longevity, but offers an immediate improvement and beautiful smile option.
Many smiles can be improved or made nearly perfect with the popular cosmetic treatment of porcelain veneers. This can best be likened to the process of applying ‘fake fingernails’ to teeth, yet in a lasting and durable manner. Porcelain veneers are custom facings that are bonded to the front surfaces of teeth to whiten, straighten, or repair teeth. They can also be used to close unwanted spaces between the teeth.
The most pleasing and perfect smiles you see on TV and magazine covers are often dentist created smiles rather than natural enamel!
Not all veneer applications are equal in terms of beauty and deception of their natural appearance. Just as one artist or painter isn’t as accomplished as another, the background and experience of the cosmetic dentist makes a real difference in appearance.
Teeth Whitening
While there are whitening toothpastes and other over-the-counter products to whiten your teeth, nothing does a better job than teeth whitening trays from a dentist’s office.
When you get your teeth whitened at our office, what you get is a custom, retainer-like tray and teeth whitening gel that you wear at night. This process, which is sometimes called “bleaching” actually whitens your teeth over a relatively short period of time as long as you continue to use the trays and gel each night as recommended.
After your initial consultation and teeth impressions, you’ll be on your way to a whiter, brighter smile.
Crowns & Bridges
Crowns are the top, hard, outer shell of a tooth that covers, protects, seals and strengthens the tooth. Because it’s the only part of the tooth that cannot repair itself, when damaged from decay or injury, a new crown may have to be created. The new crown fits over the entire top of the tooth just like your original crown.
Clear Braces
Many adults seek out and enjoy the benefits of an attractive smile with straight teeth. Even if treatment was started and/or completed in childhood years, many people have experienced relapse and unwanted tooth movement in the adult years.
Tooth Color Filings
Fillings are used after a tooth has encountered a cavity to prevent it from further decay. Fillings used to be made of silver and mercury or gold, which many people are used to, but now there is a new type of white resin, tooth-colored fillings which make them less noticeable because its color matches the color of the tooth. Sometimes a tooth may have a large filling and there is very little tooth left to support the filling and you need a new crown or cosmetic dentistry.
